What do animals reveal about us as humans? ANIMALIA. Of Animals and Humans explores our complex relationship with the animal world through more than 100 works of art from the 20th and 21st centuries. Between closeness, admiration and exploitation, works by Marc Chagall, Gustav Klimt, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol and many other artists reveal how strongly depictions of animals are shaped by human desires and projections. From 31 August to 17 September we prepare the next exhibition and only our permanent exhibition KLIMT-WARHOL is on show with reduced ticket prices.
